The first Sushi Plus store was opened by James and Tik Pearse in 2016 on Charles St Launceston with the goal of offering fresh, affordable quick-service sushi and ricepaper rolls to the Launceston public. The store was a great success and since then another two stores have opened within the Launceston area with the addition of George St and Express at Meadow Mews. With our passion for Japanese and Asian food we have strived to create a diverse and high quality menu with a focus on freshness, taste and fast engaging service. Having previously worked long days and nights in other food businesses we deliberately set out to create a family friendly business that would give work/ life balance to its operators.
